An illustrated interactive scavenger hunt through the different ecosystems found in the New York Botanical Garden.

The process of illustrating a New york city landmark in Spring from Oregon was an interesting one. A photographer in New York took high resolution panoramas of each of the biomes and then I worked closely with the botanists at the NYBG to identify what flora should be called out and what what it looked like in full flower or fruit. The resulting illustration shows something that the visiting public never sees, a perpetual blooming garden.
